Celine Royer is a lighting designer, lighting director, and programmer who loves music and creating shows that appeal both to the audience and to the bands she works with. She has had an unusual path into lighting, switching from being a hairdresser and a singer in a band to a career as a lighting technician in France. She moved to the United States so that she could work with bigger shows and acts than the ones that were available to her in France. She has now worked with many different bands and acts including Jennifer Lopez, Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda and on Rupaul’s Drag Race for the World Tour and the Vegas residency.

Ayrton Hosts Women in Lighting Entertainment Sessions on Oct. 20

Ayrton is hosting Entertainment Lighting Sessions for Women in Lighting at the Ayrton head offices in Paris on Oct. 20, 2022. The full-day event, 9:30 am-5 pm, promises to be one of inspiration, motivation, networking, personal and professional development and community for women. Registration is free for in-person and online attendance.

Founded in 2019 by Sharon Stammers and Martin Lupton of Light Collective, and already well-established in the field of architectural lighting, WIL exists to provide an inspirational digital platform that profiles women working in lighting and lighting design, celebrating, and promoting their work and career paths.
