BRISTOL, U.K. — Bristol based lighting and video rental specialist Fineline enjoyed another ‘Sessions’ season at the Eden Project in Cornwall, providing production lighting, LED screen, trussing and rigging for the 2015 Eden Sessions – seven high profile concerts with a diverse line up including Elton John (2 shows), Paolo Nutini, Paloma Faith, Motorhead (pictured here), The Stranglers, Spandau Ballet and Ben Howard.
NORTHAMPTON, U.K. — Stage Right, a production company here, has been using EMTO’s new LED screens for recently staged productions including Jack & The Beanstalk (at the 1,000-seat Deco Theatre) and a touring production of Rent, pictured here.
HIGH WYCOMBE, U.K. — Dry Hire Lighting, based here, added more Robe fixtures to its rental inventory, pushing the company’s cross-rental inventory of moving lights toward the 1,000 mark. The latest order included a mix of Robe Robin Pointes, LEDWash 600s and LEDBeam 100s. LIVERPOOL, U.K. — Stage Technologies has supplied a stage engineering system for the newly reopened Everyman Theatre here. The system is based on a specification designed by Charcoal Blue consultants and the Everyman Trust that focuses on flexibility and future expansion.
BERKHAMSTED, Hertfordshire U.K. — The Pepper Rock Event Show, a concert in support of the Pepper Foundation, has passed the 25-year mark in 2013. Through its U.K. distributor Ambersphere, the event also received an assist from Clay Paky.
YORK, U.K. — Projection artist Ross Ashton from The Projection Studio in London once again teamed up with sound artist Karen Monid to produce a third son et lumière, dubbed Triquetra in the historical city of York, UK, for the 2013 Illuminating York Festival of Art. The projections spanned a 75-by-25-meter (width by height) area.
