Chase and Status Tour Includes Clay Paky Sharpys

LONDON — Lighting and stage designer Andy Hurst included Clay Paky’s Sharpy fixtures for electronic dance music duo Chase and Status’s arena tour last fall. Blackburn, U.K.-based HSL provided the fixtures which complemented the curved truss set design and video visuals.

LONDON — OneBigStar Ltd, which provided the video, lighting and rigging for Bryan Ferry’s summer Jazz Age tour through Europe, also supported the artist’s round of U.K. performances, which wrapped up in late November. The set featured a video wall backdrop comprised of 36 PVP S7 video panels from Chauvet Professional.

LONDON — Mood, drama, invention and Robe moving lights were at the heart of the elegant, intricate lighting design created by Rich George from 3DL&S for jazz-pop singer and songwriter Jamie Cullum’s Momentum tour, which recently completed its first U.K. leg before heading to Europe. Leeds, U.K.-based Zig Zag Lighting is providing the gear.

Warehouse Project EDM Events in U.K. Lit by dbn

MANCHESTER, U.K. — dbn Lighting, based here, once again supplied lighting and LED screens to the Warehouse Project (WHP), a series of EDM events founded by Sacha Lord-Marchionne and Sam Kandel. WHP operates for two regular nights each week from September to New Year’s Eve on a timeline coinciding with university and college schedules. It attracts international EDM DJs and live acts and sells out months in advance. This was the second year the club has operating out of the Victoria Warehouse venue in Trafford Park. dbn’s Pete Robinson has been involved with WHP from the start. This year he created the production and lighting design for all three rooms in the space.
