Gigant is an arts and performance complex in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, an invigorating creative space. The 550-capacity popzaal has a history with Robe moving lights. The latest Robe products to be installed are PAINTES, CUETES, and LEDBeam 150s which arrived at the end of 2023.
The Royal Theater Carré (Koninklijk Theater Carré) is in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Founded in 1887, it was originally built as a permanent venue for the Carré circus family and their popular ‘horse-play’ circus-theatre shows, but was later repurposed to also stage a variety of performances, revue theatre and operettas. Currently, the auditorium is used for a mix of musicals, pop and music concerts, and cabaret shows. The auditorium lighting has recently received an upgrade with the existing lighting replaced by Anolis Ambiane XP56 LED fixtures fitted with 20° lenses.

A significant quantity of ADJ Focus Profile, Vizi Beam 12RX, and Focus Flex automated luminaires were used to create an impressive atmosphere last month for a huge hardstyle dance event held at the Autotron exhibition center close to ‘s-Hertogenbosch in The Netherlands. Vroeger Was Alles Beter (which translates to ‘Everything Used To Be Better’) focuses on classic hard dance music and this special edition dubbed ‘The Man With The Golden Classics’ was headlined by one of the scene’s most prolific artists, Headhunterz. The sold-out event, which attracted a crowd of 8000, ran all day from 12:30pm through to 12:00am. The 3rd International Drone Show Competition, initiated by SPH Engineering’s Drone Show Software (DSS) team, announced its results. Participants from 31 countries competed for the right to get to the final and become the winner in one of five categories. Applications from drone show operators, event companies, firework enthusiasts, 3D animators, and other professionals involved in the drone show industry were evaluated by an international jury, composed of representatives of the media industry, drone enterprises, creative and design agencies, experienced high-tech entrepreneurs, etc. PLSN Editor, Michael S.
