The 3rd International Drone Show Competition, initiated by SPH Engineering’s Drone Show Software (DSS) team, announced its results. Participants from 31 countries competed for the right to get to the final and become the winner in one of five categories. Applications from drone show operators, event companies, firework enthusiasts, 3D animators, and other professionals involved in the drone show industry were evaluated by an international jury, composed of representatives of the media industry, drone enterprises, creative and design agencies, experienced high-tech entrepreneurs, etc. PLSN Editor, Michael S. LONDON — For a concert Feb. 21 at Wembley Arena for Taiwanese alt rockers Mayday, Live Nation turned to XL Video for video production that included a 24 by 5.4 meter high main screen comprised Pixled FX-12 along with 240 tiles of Pixled FX-11 for three additional screens flown on a mid truss, all measuring 8 tiles wide and 10 high. For I-Mag relay, two 16-by-9-foot side screens were rigged left and right of the stage, each fed by a pair of Barco FLM 22K projectors.
