Tait Creates Kinetic Video Flippers for Michael Buble Tour

LONDON – Tait worked alongside designer, Ric Lipson of Stufish; production manager, Dean Roney and LD Kurt Wagner to create a multifaceted staging concept for Michael Buble’s “To Be Loved” tour, which opened this month at the O2 arena in London. The set features 58 axes of motion, with aesthetics and functionality designed to provide a versatile performance environment. The set has a modernistic, refined look and the ability to seamlessly transform into various configurations.

Tait Supplies Moving Robots for Deadmau5’s Las Vegas Residency

LAS VEGAS – Working alongside designer Martin Phillips, Tait manufactured a range of DJ automation elements for Deadmau5’s six-month club residency at Hakkasan in the MGM Hotel in Las Vegas. The residency, which features special guests throughout the shows, sees two ABB Robots with Robotic Arts Roboscreens on either side of the DJ booth. The robots have a 1.5 meter (5ft.) reach and six axes of movement, with the ability to extend vertically, horizontally and to rotate.
