The 2022 Balaton Sound Festival took place during a midsummer heat wave in Hungary June 29-July 2. Despite the sizzling weather, LD Mark Kontra was able to captivate the crowds drawn to performers including Martin Garrix, Alesso, Marshmello and Sven Väth with more than 200 Robe fixtures from Budapest-based Colossal Ltd.
LD Liam McCarthy used 100 Robe moving lights supplied by Just Lites for ABBA Orchestral [an ABBA tribute show] at Dublin’s 3Arena. The musical extravaganza featured the Waterloo Concert Orchestra led by noted conductor and arranger Andy O’Callaghan.
Ghost from Sweden and Volbeat from Denmark co-headlined a U.S. tour lit, respectively, by LDs Erich Bertti and Niels Bjerregaard. Premier Global Productions provided a rig centered on Robe moving lights including MegaPointes, Spiiders, and BMFL Spots.
MIAMI – SJ Lighting included Robe fixtures in three of the four stages they lit at the 2021 Miami Rolling Loud Festival. The event took place over three days and nights in late July at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL, offering 75,000 hip hop fans their first chance to see A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, Travis Scott and others perform live since March 2020.
