‘Wheel of Fortune’ Spins for Robe in South Africa

Homebrew in Cape Town, South Africa, has invested in new Robe LEDBeam 150s for the most recent series of popular games show, ‘Wheel of Fortune’. The LEDBeam 150s were specified by Head of Lighting Daniel Louw, who oversees all things lighting related for a few productions at the film and television production facility.

LED Upgrade For Red Pepper Studios in South Africa Includes Philips Selecon Gear

JOHANNESBURG – South African TV studio Red Pepper recently underwent an upgrade project that focused on the addition of LED fixtures for its studio facilities in Linden, Melville and Braamfontein. DWR Distribution provided 14 Philips Selecon Studio Panels, six Philips Selecon PLcyc1 luminaires and eight Philips Selecon SPX Zoomspot luminaires for the upgrade, which benefited from input from set designer Michael Gill and LDs Joshua Cutts and Francois van der Merwe.
