Ed Warren Revs Up Four Tet Under The Bridge Performance with ChamSys

The acclaimed British lighting designer, Ed Warren and his client Four Tet were 100-feet below the long and very busy Kosciuszko Bridge in NYC, busy doing what they love. Those passing overhead between Brooklyn and Queens were oblivious to the two-day festival below featuring a mix of EDM music from Four Tet and 20 artists. Warren lit Four Tet’s two main stage sets using his ChamSys MagicQ MQ500M Stadium Console.

Video Director Carol Dodds: Pioneer and Innovator

In the chronicles of our industry, when listing the most technologically advanced, visually audacious concert tours, U2’s Zoo TV is among the top. The 1992-93 video-heavy phenomenon was an ostentatiously staged multimedia experience intended to overload the senses. Whatever the band’s intention, its dazzling use of video left its mark, and that was typical of the work of Video Director Carol Dodds. As a video pioneer and innovator, she is equally technically proficient and artistically inclined. The Pixies World Tour Includes Martin Vipers, Auras and Rush MH3 Fixtures

BOSTON — The Pixies, which formed here in 1986, split up in 1993, then regrouped in 2004, have been credited, over the years, as an influence on bands including Nirvana, Radiohead and the Strokes. For their 2014 world tour, LD Myles Mangino specified a rig from See Factor that includes 15 Martin MAC Viper Profiles, 12 MAC Auras, four RUSH MH3s and three Jem K1 Hazers.
