The LDI Show returned to Las Vegas after a busy year of live event productions across North America. The aisles were busy with production pros seeking to gear up for another busy year ahead, with exhibitors unveiling as many new products as steadily improving supply chain conditions would permit.
We take a look at a variety of new products being launched this fall from a range of manufacturers and distributors. This product guide includes new luminaires, control and distribution products, staging, trussing, video, special effects, and other production equipment.
LOS ANGELES – The BlizzCon convention (held in Anaheim in November, and pictured here) and the “League of Legends Season 3 World Championship” (held in Los Angeles last October) both relied upon Ron StageMaster load monitoring to manage heavy, complex rigs. Brent Armstrong of Alpine Rigging and Structural Design, a proponent of load monitoring systems, provided his perspective on the events.
WACKEN, Germany — For heavy metal band Rammstein’s Made in Germany tour, which concluded at the Wacken Open Air Festival here Aug. 1-3, Dart Rigging has relied on Ron StageMaster wireless load cells from Eilon Engineering. Dart Rigging first deployed the RMS load cell system for the band’s large-and-growing rigging needs in 2009.
