Robe T1 Profile Luminaires at the Capitole Theatre in Ghent

Robe T1 Profile LED luminaires have been installed at the 1,700-person capacity Capitole Theatre in Ghent, Belgium, where they are deployed on the front lighting bridge for key lighting and specials, replacing the previous tungsten fixtures. BERLIN, Germany – Robe moving lights were once again specified by LD Manuel da Costa for the most recent series of the TV singing contest, The Voice of Germany (VOG). The series was recorded at Studio Berlin and produced jointly by a Dutch German collaboration between Taipa and Schwartzkopff TV. It was broadcast on Pro7 and Sat 1 channels. A total of 188 Robes were supplied by Magic Lighting & Sound from Cologne.

Robe Launches New Asia Pacific Operation

SINGAPORE — Robe Lighting s.r.o. opened a new Asia Pacific office here Jan. 17, 2014 called Robe Asia Pacific (RAP). It is led by Edwwerth Lai, Robe’s sales director for Asia, and Desmond Kwan, technical operations director. Dhora Shukor will manage the office. Robe Asia Pacific follows the opening of a new Robe Middle East office and operation in Dubai in Nov. 2013. Robe will continue to work with Lighting & Sound Distribution represented by Louis Teo and Brenda Keung as preferred partners for Singapore.

Eventec Adds More Than 80 Robe Fixtures to Inventory

AALSMEER, The Netherlands — Eventec, a leading production company based here, added more than 80 new fixtures from Robe to its inventory, including Robe Robin Pointes, LEDWash 300s and MMX WashBeams. The gear will be used for a variety of live and televised productions. Eventec also works together with other Amsterdam-area rental companies —notably Haarlem-based React — to pool their gear resources in support of large events.
