Czech moving and LED lighting manufacturer Robe celebrated its 30th anniversary in fantastic style in Hall 12.1 at the 2024 Prolight + Sound expo in Frankfurt and looked forward to another 30 years at the forefront of lighting innovation. The leading entertainment technology brand presented the finale of the ‘Power of Imagination’ show, a dazzling, hi-energy live performance that WOWed packed audiences 5 times a day and also staged a showstopping Rock ‘n’ Robe stand party on the evening of the second day, featuring “Queenie”, arguably Europe’s top Queen tribute band. Robe Gets Wild in Singapore

Robe FORTES in Heaven

Lighting Designer Mikael Kratt was super happy to be among the first visiting creatives to use the Royal Danish Opera’s new Robe FORTE moving lights in a recent production at the Copenhagen Opera House. Robe PAINTES & TX1 PosiProfiles for Aarhus Musikhuset

Aarhus Musikhuset has recently invested in Robe PAINTE moving lights and TX1 PosiProfiles for three of its halls. The Rhythmic Hall (Rytmisk Sal) also known as the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall has eight PAINTES, the Small Hall (Lille Sal) has seven TX1, with another eight TX1s – four with gobos – for the 1,172-capacity Symphonic Hall (Symfonisk Sal). Robe at ISE 2024

Robe Lighting will exhibit on booths 1C700 and 1D700 in Hall 1 at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) expo 30th January to 2nd Feb February 2024 at Fira Barcelona in Spain, where it and sister businesses – Anolis, Avolites, and Artistic Licence – will share a dynamic space and present an interesting array of new and popular products.

A team from Dublin-based Spectrum Productions led by David Lawless and Jack Quirke supplied a large quantity of Robe moving lights rig for a rumbunctious, sold-out electro-extravaganza gig by popular Irish mix masters, Belters Only, at Dublin’s 3Arena. David and the team have been working with the artists for the last year and designed the floor lighting package for their 2023 festival appearances. Soweto Theatre Invests in Robe ESPRITES

The colorful, funky, eye-catching architecture of the Soweto Theatre stands at the center of Jabulani, an area fast developing into a bustling future CBD. For the last 10 years, the venue, designed by Afritects, has provided a buzzing performing arts hub and forum for creative expression reaching into the heart of the local community. In 2023, the lighting department, headed by Nkululeko Mazibuko, received 12 new Robe ESPRITE moving lights as part of a technical upgrade which was coordinated by the venue’s technical manager, Lebugang Andrew Mnisi. The lights were delivered by Robe’s South African distributor, DWR, and join the original Robe LEDWash 300 and 600E Spot moving lights that have been working hard in the theatre since it opened in 2012, together with the LEDBeam 150s that were purchased in 2019.Read More »Soweto Theatre Invests in Robe ESPRITES
