USA – Although the USITT Conference and Stage Expo is still slated as an in-person event in Baltimore, MD from March 2-5, the three-day New World Rigging Symposium, produced by USITT and ESTA, will be a virtual event this coming year. It’s set to take place online April 5-7, 2022.
The International Code of Practice for Entertainment Rigging (ICOPER) was drafted by industry professionals from around the globe to promote awareness and safety worldwide by providing a model code of practice with a focus on arena rigging but applicable to all event production rigging disciplines. ICOPER is now accepting public review comments until December 10, 2021.
