Over the course of his career, Scott Holthaus has created some extraordinarily impressive shows with large center stage video screens. In Memoriam: Chris McGregor, Production Designer & Creative Visionary, 61

Chris McGregor

Production Designer and President of San Francisco-based Stage II Productions, Chris McGregor died of a heart attack on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 61. McGregor is widely known for his creative work for Phish and The Residents as well as lighting and production design for numerous events. His passing was initially confirmed by The Residents, who he had worked with since 1989. Among the nominees for the 2023 Creative Arts Emmy Awards is NBC’s ‘Carol Burnett: 90 Years Of Laughter + Love’ for Outstanding Production Design For A Variety Special recognizing Production Designer Tamlyn Wright and Art Director Travis Deck. 75th Emmy Awards Nominations Announced

The nominations for the 75th Emmy Awards were announced this past week, including the nominees for the Creative Arts Emmys, honoring artistic and technical achievements in television. The 2023 Creative Arts Emmy Awards are currently scheduled to take place at the Peacock Theater over two consecutive nights on Saturday, September 9, and Sunday, September 10.

OSA Lights Up Peter Frampton’s ‘Never Say Never’ Tour

OSA International, a full-service production company with offices in Nashville, Las Vegas, and Chicago, is supplying the lighting gear and product support for Peter Frampton’s comeback tour, Never Say Never. To visually bring his shows to life in concert, Frampton turned to Lighting Designer and Emmy-award winner Gregg Maltby and a full complement of OSA lighting. The Many Hats of CHAUVET Professional at Glastonbury

They might not have been as common as flags at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, but CHAUVET Professional fixtures seemed to be everywhere one looked at Worthy Farm during the world-famous event. The company’s products were used to add extra color and excitement to 17 of the festival’s stages. The 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards marked their tenth year with a moving showcase of the biggest names in Christian music, films, sports, books, and more. Amadeus Austrian Music Awards Take Place in Historic Setting with the Latest Technology from GLP
