PRG Lights Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall

LONDON — For 2014’s Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) at the Royal Albert Hall, which ran from March 24-30, the roster of performers included Ed Sheeran, The Cure, OneRepublic, Suede and Paolo Nutini along with Jason Manford and other comedians. PRG worked with LD Tom Kenny and provided lighting and rigging gear and crew.

PRG Provides Crew, Lighting Gear and Rigging for La Boheme at RAH

LONDON — Royal Albert Hall, in conjunction with Raymond Gubbay, staged Puccini’s classic opera, La Bohème, with an assist from crew, lighting equipment, lighting console and rigging from Production Resource Group (PRG). Andrew Bridge once again served as LD for the Gubbay/RAH production, continuing a 20-year production alliance.

Top Gear Live Debuts in Scotland with Assist from PRG

GLASGOW — Top Gear Live made its debut in Scotland with five shows from Jan. 17-19. Based on the British TV show, and featuring presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May along with show character, “The Stig,” the production included a variety of live stunts and challenges. PRG supported the event’s lighting and rigging needs.

PRG Plays Starring Role with ‘World War Z’ Premiere

LONDON – PRG (Production Resource Group) delivered the lighting and rigging for Tim Routledge’s lighting design for Muse at Horse Guards Parade in June. The free concert, staged to celebrate the London premiere of the apocalyptic action film ‘World War Z’, saw LD Routledge create a design that reflected the film’s themes in epic style.

PRG Supplies Support for Chime For Change

LONDON – PRG teamed up with Harvey Goldsmith promotions at Twickenham in June to supply the rigging and lighting for the Chime For Change concert headlined by Beyonce and Madonna. Dubbed a ‘feminist Live Aid,’ the production featured a ine up of big name stars and a 50,000-strong audience to campaign for improved education, health and justice for women around the world.
