Today the business is about 75 percent sales and integration and 25 percent touring. I’ve been uttering the phrase, “That’s my new favorite piece of gear” a lot these days. Any time I get something that makes my gig instantly easier — I’ll take it! Case in point: my most recent gear purchase, the Ronin from Atomos. They’ve made quite a name for themselves in the DSLR market producing small, inexpensive off-camera video recorders, but the Ronin is a bit of a different beast — and by far my new favorite piece of gear.

After 142 shows, Pink’s The Truth About Love world tour concluded Jan. 31 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The tour received rave reviews as it traveled to 16 countries and, as ranked by Billboard, became the third highest-grossing tour of 2013. In support of her sixth album of the same name, Pink once again teamed up with show director Baz Halpin of Silent House.
