Pete’s Big TVs Provides Video Production for Nickelodeon Upfront

NEW YORK – Pete’s Big TVs provided LED video tiles, playback, cameras, media servers, recording and crew for Nickelodeon’s Upfront, an event that previews the upcoming season for potential advertisers. The Feb. 25 event took place at Moynihan Station, formerly the historic James A. Farley Post office, in New York City.

However, on December 11, when it was the Lending Club Corporation’s turn to launch their initial public offering and first day of trading on the NYSE, they wanted something extra. Michael Ahern Productions brought in video equipment rental company Pete’s Big TVs to help.

NEW CASTLE, DE – Industry veteran Anne Johnston has joined Pete’s Big TVs as an Account Rep. Based in the New York/Tri-State area, Johnston will serve the company’s video equipment rental clients in the concert touring, TV and special/corporate events market. Her start date is Jan. 6, 2014. Johnston has worked in these same markets, most recently as VP of Marketing at Production Resource Group (PRG).

NEW CASTLE, DE – Video equipment rental company Pete’s Big TVs is supplying the complete video equipment package – LED screens, cameras and crew – for the Backstreet Boys reunion tour, which celebrates 20 years of the group with all five original members. The Backstreet Boys kicked off their “In A World Like This” tour May 25 in China.

NEW CASTLE, DE – Video equipment rental company Pete’s Big TVs is providing the video equipment, cameras and d3 media servers for the new 2013 production of the “Dreamgirls” tour. Working with MB Productions, Pete’s Big TVs is providing the main set of the show, comprised of 400 digiLED MC15 (15 mm) LED video panels in three screens, which all track and fly in different configurations. Howard Werner of Lightswitch designed the media content.

Pete’s Big TVs Provides ‘BET Honors’ Video Support

NEW CASTLE, DE – Video equipment rental company Pete’s Big TVs provided 330 high resolution LED video screens, along with projectors, monitors and crew for the 2013 BET Honors at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC. The LED video panels used are audibly silent and electrically silent, so there was no interference with any wireless devices in the production. The show airs Feb. 11 on BET.

Pete’s Big TVs Debuts MK7 LED Panels on Country Concert ’12

FT. LORAMIE, OH – Pete’s Big TVs recently added to its rental inventory 1,200 panels of digiLED MK7 video screens, using 350 of the panels to create five screens for the Country Concert ’12. The MK7 panels provided a solution for daytime ambience. “They have all the features of the 7mm MC7 – popular because of their no Radio Frequency interference – except that the screens are not transparent, which makes them twice as bright,” says Guy Benjamin of Pete’s Big TVs.
