MIA Awards Show Lit by LD Luc Peumans and Painting with Light

BRUSSELLS, Belgium — Painting with Light and LD Luc Peumans lit the 2013 Music Industry (MIA) Awards. It was Peumans’ first time as LD for the annual awards show. The televised event was produced by Flemish national TV channel VRT (Vlaamse Radio en Televisie) in Videohouse Studio 7 in Vilvoorde (Brussels) and broadcast live.

DE PANNE, Belgium — For  the new 1,400-seat Plopsa Theatre within the coastal Plopsaland de Panne theme park and business center in Belgium’s West-Flanders province, Genk, Belgium-based Painting With Light (PWL) designed custom architectural lighting system for the theatre’s interior, exterior, foyer and house. PWL also consulted on the stage lighting system design.

Painting With Light Provides Supporting Visuals for Holiday On Ice

BREMEN, Germany and PARIS, France – The latest Holiday on Ice spectacular, Platinum, is touring Germany and France this winter with a lighting and video design provided by Luc Peumans of Belgium-based Painting With Light. The use of digital scenery supports the show’s recreation of complex scenic and locational settings without the need for bulky sets.

LONDERZEEL, Belgium — Painting With Light worked with LD Luc Peumans on the visuals for a new music quiz-and-talent show, Sing That Song. It was recorded in front of a live audience at Londerzeel Studios and broadcast weekly on Belgium’s national TV channel, VRT. The grandMA2-controlled lighting rig included 38 Clay Paky Sharpys, 12 Robe LEDWash 600s, 72 Showtec Spectral M800 LED fixtures, 45 Fresnels (1K and 2K) and 24 Showtec Active Sunstrips.
