After Acquiring R&R Lighting, Shadowstone Plans Open House in DC Area

SILVER SPRING, MD — Shadowstone Inc., a lighting rental provider based in Clifton, NJ, acquired R&R Lighting, based here, earlier this year, accelerating its expansion from the New York area to the mid-Atlantic region and Washington, DC. Shadowstone is planning an Open House event at 813 Silver Spring Ave. here to “introduce and re-introduce” its rentals, sales and service teams to existing and potential new customers.

“It looks like the rings of Saturn,” said one observer, craning his neck to grab the attention of his companion to his left.

Drug-Linked Deaths Cancel EDM Show in Boston and E-Zoo Festival’s Third Day in NYC

BOSTON and NEW YORK — Separate drug-related incidents claimed the lives of three EDM revelers in late August, with one death canceling an EDM concert in Boston on Aug. 28 and two more deaths leading to the cancellation of the final day’s performances for the three-day Electric Zoo Music Festival at Randall’s Island Park in NYC over Labor Day weekend, Aug. 30-Sept. 1.
