NAMM has announced show dates for 2023 and 2024. After the 2022 show returns to the Anaheim Convention Center for three days this year (June 3-5), plans call for the 2023 event to be a three-day event also (April 13-15, 2023), followed by the return to the traditional January time-frame and four-day show (Jan. 25-28, 2024).
The 20th Annual Parnelli Awards, set to take place at the Anaheim Hilton on June 3 during NAMM, will include the Indispensable Technology (“IT”) Awards honoring product innovation in four categories—Lighting, Video, Staging and Audio. The “IT” Awards ballot includes six products in each category, and voting has begun.
Chris Lose, PLSN columnist and lighting/video designer, led one of the free educational sessions offered as a part of NAMM’s Believe In Music online event, which was livestreamed Jan. 20-21.
