Vice President Mike Golden Celebrates 40 Years at Bandit Lites

During Bandit Lites’ Annual General Meeting in Nashville, Founder and Chair Michael T. Strickland honored Vice President Mike Golden for his 40 years of service. After working as a stagehand at the coliseum in Johnson City, TN, Golden joined Bandit Lites as a stage builder for a Kenny Rogers tour. The MUSIC Act for Industry Relief is Reintroduced in the U.S. Senate

The MUSIC Act was reintroduced in the U.S. Senate on Dec. 7. “The new bill is a bipartisan effort, with Republican Senators Blackburn and Hagerty and Democratic Senators Klobuchar, Warnock, and Cortez Masto all as sponsors,” noted Bandit Lites Chair/Founder Michael T. Strickland. “This new legislation serves to allow those left behind by the Shuttered Venue Operator Grants (SVOG) to receive grants from the remaining funds.”
