The 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards marked their tenth year with a moving showcase of the biggest names in Christian music, films, sports, books, and more. The fan voted awards were held May 28th at the Grand Ole Opry House and aired on TBN on June 2. Bandit Lites Illuminates 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards

The Gospel Music Association’s 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards ceremony took place at Nashville’s sold-out Allen Arena on Oct. 18, and the taped show aired Oct. 21 on TBN. Along with the performances, the event named GRAMMY Award winner CeCe Winans Artist of the Year, and also honored Winans for Song of the Year for her No. 1 Billboard hit, “Believe for It.”

Nashville Celebrates Independence Day with Bandit Lites

Hundreds of thousands of people gathered in downtown Nashville to celebrate the Fourth of July with a big concert event and fireworks show in the heart of Music City. Bandit Lites provided lighting for two stages: the main stage on Broadway featuring Old Dominion and 17 Nashville-based artists, and the Ascend Amphitheater where the Nashville Symphony Orchestra performed.

Jimmie Allen Heads ‘Down Home’ with Bandit Lites

Rising country star Jimmie Allen kicked off his first headlining trek, the Down Home tour, with lighting provided by Bandit Lites. The multi-platinum singer-songwriter performed his single, “Down Home,” at the Grammy Awards ceremony in Las Vegas on April 3, less than a month after its release. The song will also be on Allen’s third album, ‘Tulip Drive,’ which is due out June 24.

Vice President Mike Golden Celebrates 40 Years at Bandit Lites

During Bandit Lites’ Annual General Meeting in Nashville, Founder and Chair Michael T. Strickland honored Vice President Mike Golden for his 40 years of service. After working as a stagehand at the coliseum in Johnson City, TN, Golden joined Bandit Lites as a stage builder for a Kenny Rogers tour.
