Proaudio del Norte and CHAUVET Professional Help Mario Moro Flores Convey Mood of Banda MS

“We have broken paradigms,” Sergio Lizárraga, leader of Banda MS once told an interviewer, referring to his band’s popularity, which has transcended all expectations to prove that banda music has unlimited appeal in today’s market beyond Mexico. Sold out shows before wildly appreciative crowds from Nashville to Las Vegas have provided convincing proof of Lizárraga’s paradigm busting claim. It’s easy to see why fans are falling in love with this band. Bouncy songs like “Por Mi No Te Detengas,” and “El Color de Tus Ojos” will make anyone feel like dancing, regardless of where they’re from or which language they speak. And ballads like “Quien Pierde Mas,” can spark romance anywhere.Read More »Proaudio del Norte and CHAUVET Professional Help Mario Moro Flores Convey Mood of Banda MS

András Praksch and CHAUVET Professional Help Republic Celebrate Boros:60 in Budapest

The worst band in Hungry! The popular quintet, Republic, has, on occasion, introduced themselves as such, tongue planted firmly in cheek. Of course, anyone familiar with this legendary group knows that this sort of ironic, self-deprecating humor, is in keeping with the freewheeling, let’s-not-take-things-(or ourselves)-too seriously attitude that has marked their stellar career.Read More »András Praksch and CHAUVET Professional Help Republic Celebrate Boros:60 in Budapest

“When I make my music, I want people to feel good, I can really feel that when they sing the lyrics back to me,” house heavyweight Sonny Fodera told an interviewer from Forbes earlier this year. The Australian-born star must have had no doubt that his music was having the desired elixir effect on his audience recently, when he performed two sold-out shows at O2 Academy Brixton. Mike Grabowski was thrilled with his experience designing the multiple stages under his purview for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest in Times Square this year, except for one thing. His single regret didn’t involve the rain that fell for much of the evening, either. After all, the “unpredictability of nature,” comes with the territory when lighting outdoor events, said The Lighting Design Group’s senior designer. Plus, given that most of his rig was IP65 rated, he had little to worry about regarding the showers. (He and the team have seen a lot of challenging weather, being at Times Square on NYE, for over a decade of these shows.)Read More »CHAUVET Professional Creates NYE Magic for Mike Grabowski and The Lighting Design Group
