CHAUVET Professional to Put PLASA London Visitors in Positive Frame of Mind

“A picture without a frame is like a soul without a body,” wrote Vincent Van Gogh, who knew a thing or two about creating beautiful visuals with color and motion. The team at CHAUVET Professional readily embraces the philosophy of the great impressionist, which is why they’ve built their innovation-rich PLASA London stand around the theme of “Frame Your Stage, Bringing Immersion Into Frame.”Read More »CHAUVET Professional to Put PLASA London Visitors in Positive Frame of Mind

The Many Hats of CHAUVET Professional at Glastonbury

They might not have been as common as flags at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, but CHAUVET Professional fixtures seemed to be everywhere one looked at Worthy Farm during the world-famous event. The company’s products were used to add extra color and excitement to 17 of the festival’s stages. Included in the group were main attractions like the Pyramid, Greenpeace, Flying Bus and new Levels stages, as well as more specialized attractions like the Avalon Stage, nightclub-like Salon Carousel, The Hive Stage, Outside Circus Stage, and the San Remo Stage, an interzone for dreamers, visionaries and other revelers.Read More »The Many Hats of CHAUVET Professional at Glastonbury

Pharrell Williams’ ‘Something in the Water’ Shines in the Rain with Harford Sound and CHAUVET Professional

Lil Wayne, Third Eye Blind, Wu-Tang Clan, Nile Rodgers, Babyface Ray, Maren Morris… There were plenty of stars at Pharrell Williams’ Something in the Water festival, but sadly, there was plenty of water too. High winds and rains along the Atlantic coast battered the superstar’s three-day event; a tornado even touched down nearby. Things got so bad, Friday and Saturday’s shows had to be delayed, while Sunday’s was completely canceled.Read More »Pharrell Williams’ ‘Something in the Water’ Shines in the Rain with Harford Sound and CHAUVET Professional

“We have broken paradigms,” Sergio Lizárraga, leader of Banda MS once told an interviewer, referring to his band’s popularity, which has transcended all expectations to prove that banda music has unlimited appeal in today’s market beyond Mexico. Sold out shows before wildly appreciative crowds from Nashville to Las Vegas have provided convincing proof of Lizárraga’s paradigm busting claim. Mike Grabowski was thrilled with his experience designing the multiple stages under his purview for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest in Times Square this year, except for one thing. His single regret didn’t involve the rain that fell for much of the evening, either. After all, the “unpredictability of nature,” comes with the territory when lighting outdoor events, said The Lighting Design Group’s senior designer. Plus, given that most of his rig was IP65 rated, he had little to worry about regarding the showers. (He and the team have seen a lot of challenging weather, being at Times Square on NYE, for over a decade of these shows.)Read More »CHAUVET Professional Creates NYE Magic for Mike Grabowski and The Lighting Design Group
