AMSTERDAM – Martin Professional’s new MAC III AirFX mid-air effects and wash luminaire debuted on the premier of a new Sensation electronic dance music event at Amsterdam Arena this past summer. Sensation LD Sander den Otter of Wonderwolf Design used 22 of the 1500-watt fixtures in the Source of Light show design. The fixture is now shipping to rental houses across the globe.

AARHUS, Denmark – The Aarhus University School of Engineering in Denmark is using Martin products to dynamically illuminate panes of laminated glass on the building’s façade. Using Martin Professional LED strip lights to backlight 24 panes of glass that operate as sun shades, the building, designed by architectural firm CF Møller A/S, now radiates in a wash of eye-catching color.

VANCOUVER – Twenty-five years to the day that Rick Hansen and his “Man in Motion World Tour” returned to Vancouver, a journey in which he circled the world in his wheelchair to raise awareness and money for spinal cord injuries, the Canadian Paralympian held a special anniversary show to inspire a new generation of activists. Lighting Designer Robert Sondergaard of Electric Aura Projects lit the show using a large Martin MAC rig supplied by Christie Lites.
