Robe T1 Profiles Enjoy the Silence at Bijloke Music Centre’s Concert Hall

The striking and unique concert hall venue, which is part of the Music Centre de Bijloke in Ghent, Belgium, was once a 13th century civic hospital and now offers a vibrant and interesting blend of music often embracing additional performance and visual art forms like theatre and film. During the pandemic, The concert Hall, which retains its original wooden curved frame roof and exterior walls, was completely renovated. TUT’s Breytenbach Theatre Adds Robe LED Fixtures

PRETORIA, South Africa  — DWR Distribution, Robe’s South African distributor, provided bright, energy-efficient LEDWash 600s for a lighting system upgrade at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) here. The fixtures impressed those looking after the lighting system at the school’s Breytenbach Theatre, a.k.a. “The Breytie.”

Belgium Nightclub Installs Big Robe Rig

HASSELT, Belgium — For the new 3,000-capacity location for Versuz, a nightclub that draws revelers from Belgium, The Netherlands and beyond with resident DJ Laurent Wery, Robe distributor Controllux provided 38 Pointes, 30 MMX WashBeams, 24 LEDWash 300s, eight LEDWash 600s, eight 600E Spots, four DLXs and 30 ClubScan 250s. Most of them are in the main room, one of three spaces at the club, which features 11 meters (36 feet) of headroom.

BALINGEN Germany — The Christmas Metal Symphony 2013 European tour, which made its way through Sweden, the Czech Republic and Germany, featured a lighting design by LD Nick van Balen. The rig centered on Robe LED Wash moving lights, including 44 LEDWash 300s and 12 LEDWash 600s.
