At NAB 2022, roughly 50 out of 1,200 booths showed Virtual Production (VP) solutions. A year later there were 600 out of 1,500 booths in the segment. InfoComm 2023 also underscored the fact that VP as a market segment has moved from buzzy trend to something worthy of full blown R&D assets for manufacturers.

On July 4, the Sphere came to life with a captivating display of dynamic, animated content on the venue’s exterior – the Exosphere – transforming the Las Vegas skyline. As part of a special show to celebrate the Fourth of July, for the first time ever, Sphere’s 580,000 square foot fully-programmable LED exterior – the largest LED screen on earth – was completely illuminated. The show started with a welcome – “Hello World” – and was followed by fireworks and stars and stripes animations, before transitioning through a wide array of visual content, from vibrant underwater scenes to performances to vividly-textured lunar surfaces, putting on full display the versatility of this unparalleled canvas. A new Anolis external lighting scheme is illuminating the facades of The Godfrey Hotel in Boston, picking out the detail and architectural intricacies of the impressive former Blake & Armory Building, a historic commercial site at the corner of Temple Place and Washington Street in the city’s Downtown Crossing pedestrian shopping zone. On May 18 2023, the sixth edition of the Tante Mia Tanzt Electro Festival took place in Vechta, Lower Saxony, Germany. Top DJs such as Netsky, Steve Aoki, and W&W played on the 68-metre-wide and 14-metre-high stage in front of around 20,000 spectators. As in the previous year, Eventures GmbH was responsible for the technical event equipment of the open-air festival in 2023.
