Bob Roach

Robert David Roach, 67 of Longwood, FL, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 7, 2023. Bob had recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and received a successful bone marrow transplant from his son, Mike. Sadly, in his weakened state he contracted pneumonia and was not able to rebound from it. He was born in Johnson City, TN on March 25, 1955 to John and Josephine Roach who preceded him in death. The Congressional Medal of Honor Society returned to Knoxville to celebrate and pay tribute to the great sacrifices made by Americans around the world in defense of our country. For “Hope in the Dark” Benefit Featuring Little Big Town, Bandit Provides the Light

KNOXVILLE, TN — Blood: Water Mission, an organization that works to minimize the problems arising from both the spread of HIV/AIDS and lack of access to clean water in Africa, staged a musical benefit called “Hope in the Dark” at the Knoxville Convention Center here April 23. Allison Burchett, Bandit Lites’ Director of Philanthropy, worked with the charity to provide lighting for the event, which raised more than $220,000.
