‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in South Africa Lit with Robe Fixtures

JOHANNESBURG – For the eighth season of Strictly Come Dancing in South Africa, broadcast on SABC 3 and produced by Rapid Blue at SABC’s Renaissance Centre in Auckland Park, Johannesburg, Gearhouse’s Robert Grobler primarily using a selection of Robe moving and static LED light fixtures – nearly 150 in all.

2014 Metro FM Awards Lit with Robe Fixtures

DURBAN, South Africa — The 2014 Metro FM Awards, which served as a celebration of 20 years of democracy while also bestowing 19 awards recognizing excellence in the urban genre of music, Johannesburg based Dream Sets provided a lighting design that included Robe fixtures in the rig. The event was staged at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Conference Centre here in March, and along with the 19 Awards, it included eight live performers. It was broadcast live on the South African Broadcasting Corporations’ SABC 1 TV channel.
