NEW YORK — New Zealand native Neil Finn is on the road with his Dizzy Heights tour, a show full of lush aural landscapes and exotic arrangements complemented by evocative lighting and a large, fluffy tapestry backdrop created by Noel Crombie and partner Sally Mill. LD David Harding is using Philips Vari-Lite fixtures and a Jands Vista console for control.

LD Ryan Burton found that a highly portable Jands Vista S1 was still powerful enough to meet his needs while touring with Ben Rector on the artist’s 34-date autumn tour of the U.S. to promote his latest album, The Walking in Between.

Portable Jands Vista S1 Meets Needs of LD on Ben Rector Tour

NASHVILLE — LD Ryan Burton found that a highly portable Jands Vista S1 was still powerful enough to meet his needs while touring with Ben Rector on the artist’s 34-date autumn tour of the U.S. to promote his latest album, The Walking in Between. Jands’ North American distributor, A.C. Lighting Inc., worked with Special Events Systems to supply the Jands Vista S1 for this tour.

SYDNEY – Indie pop’s Brooklyn-based duo Matt & Kim have just toured Australia as part of the Groovin’ The Moo festival. LD Ian Lyles uses a Jands Vista L5 console for the arena, club and theatre shows that the band play in America and so when he found out that he would be visiting Australia, Lyles was keen to see the Vista M1 and S1 consoles.

Jands Vista Consoles Return to Birthplace with Sir Cliff

SYDNEY – Sir Cliff Richard returned to Australia earlier this year with his “Still Reelin’ and A-Rockin’ ” tour. Longtime LD Derek Jones brought a rig of close to 90 moving lights. To control the rig, he brought his own Vista S3 and Vista M1, part of a larger family of Vista consoles that he owns.

Jibson Chooses Jands Vista L5 for Deftones

CHICAGO – LD Robb Jibson is using a Jands Vista L5 to control lighting for alt-rock band, Deftones on their latest tour. Traveling with their own custom grid package, the Jands Vista L5 is controlling more than 150 lighting fixtures on the Deftones tour, including a number of LED battens, moving heads, spotlights and strobes.

Jands Vista 2 ‘Never Did Me Any Harm’

MASCOT, NSW, Australia – Never Did Me Any Harm is a new dance theatre work that explores the complexities of contemporary family life. Set designer/LD Geoff Cobham collaborated on the project with Chris Petridis, video designer and assistant LD. A PC running Jands Vista v2 software with a Vista M1 wingboard was used to operate the show.
