Washington National Opera General Director Timothy O’Leary and Artistic Director Francesca Zambello announce two new appointments that will oversee the newly defined Artistic and Production departments. The delineation aims to create clearer lines of responsibility, a more sustainable workload for Washington National Opera (WNO) staff, and new support for WNO’s mission. Chelsea Antrim Dennis will join WNO as Director of Production, beginning August 7, 2023. Dennis comes to WNO from Santa Fe Opera, where she currently serves as Director of Production and where she began her career in 2004. New LED Billboards Outside T2 Terminal of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport Supported by INFiLED

In May 2022, next to the roadway outside the T2 terminal of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, four brand-new upright LED billboards were installed. These billboards are all made of INFiLED’s MV series, with a size of 3.5m x 3m. The advertising content presented is conspicuous and distinct. Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is one of the busiest airports in China, with a good deal of passengers taking off and landing from there every day. Due to the huge passenger flow, the airport intended to install some LED displays next to the drop-off lane outside the T2 terminal for commercial promotion. NantStudios Virtual Production Stages in Australia

NantStudios, a virtual production studio based in El Segundo in Los Angeles County, CA, recently announced that the company, through its wholly owned Australian subsidiary, has built two new LED volume/In-Camera VFX stages at Docklands Studios located in Melbourne, Australia, and will operate the world’s largest LED volume.
