TORONTO – Contemporary dance company, Ballet Creole, marked its 25th anniversary with many events and performances, including their annual spring season at Harbourfront Centre’s Fleck Dance Theatre. A.C.T Lighting, Inc., distributor of Clay Paky fixtures in North America, supplied LD Brad Trenaman with some Alpha Spot QWO 800s, which were not yet available from local rental houses. Trenaman also deployed Clay Paky A.leda K10 and K20 Wash fixtures during the season.
CHICAGO — With a mission to train the next generation of theatre artists in all disciplines, The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago had lighting design students illuminate St. Vincent de Paul Parish church with storytelling visuals. The 30-minute displays, presented May 20-22, made use of Elation lighting products supplied by Protolight, Inc.

The company is planning to tour the U.S., offering software training and displaying the latest innovations in lighting, audio and video. The first events will take place in San Diego (Jan. 17), Anaheim CA (Jan. 20), Phoenix (Jan. 28) and Dallas (Feb. 5).
