GoVision Elevates Fan Experience at Cricket World Cup

When the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup came to the United States for the first time, GoVision was enlisted to provide an in-stadium video experience worthy of one of the world’s most-watched sporting events. GoVision was contracted by PMY Group to build two 27’ x 60’ LED screens at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium – a pop-up, temporary venue. The massive screens required three days to build at the largest venue to host the 2024 Cricket World Cup.

NCAA Final Four Highlights Busy Week for GoVision

ARLINGTON, TX – Las Vegas to Wyoming to Nashville, GoVision, based here, has been busy of late, crisscrossing the country in support of more than 20 events. GoVision Adds Video Screens for NCAA at Cowboys Stadium

ARLINGTON, TX   – Even with one of the world’s largest LED screens, Cowboys Stadium needed more screens for the 2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament South Regionals, taking place March 29-31. GoVision is constructing and suspending a giant four-sided LED screen directly beneath the iconic “Jerrytron” to allow spectators to view the video boards and scoreboards. The regional is a precursor to the 2014 NCAA Men’s Final Four, also taking place at the stadium.

Obama Inauguration Visuals Include GoVision Screens

WASHINGTON, DC – For the third time, GoVision LED screens provided visual support for a presidential inauguration ceremony. For the public ceremony staged Jan. 21, five mobile LED screens – including a high-definition mobile LED unit – were positioned on both sides of the U.S. Capitol’s steps, and at the head of the National Mall. CNN also contracted with GoVision to construct a 10 by 17 foot modular LED screen for its broadcast set, pictured here.

15 GoVision Screens Support 2012 Ryder Cup

Golf tournaments usually focus on the competitive abilities of individuals, but the Ryder Cup puts the competitive focus every two years on players based in the U.S. vs. those from overseas. Administered by the PGA of America and PGA European Tour, the Ryder Cup stokes trans-Atlantic rivalries and has become one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the golfing calendar, for pros and fans alike. This year, the 39th Ryder Cup took place Sept. 25-30 at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, IL, and while the outcome wasn’t favorable for the U.S., Europe’s stunning comeback on the last day of play lived up to the Cup’s reputation for epic drama. Nearly 40,000 spectators attended.

CHICAGO – CNN supplemented its wall-to-wall election night coverage by hosting viewing events in Chicago and Boston, the respective home bases of President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney. The network hired Texas-based GoVision, a supplier of customized modular LED walls and turnkey mobile LED units, to provide and install its giant screens at both free public viewing events.

GoVision Enhances Entertainment at ASAE Meeting

DALLAS – Argyle, TX-based GoVision provided video screens to enhance the entertainment during the 2012 ASAE Annual Meeting & Expo in Dallas. An Opening Night Celebration at Cowboys Stadium featured extra screens on each side of the stage for Big & Rich’s show, while another night’s event featured screens enhancing country artist Jack Ingram’s performance.
