ADJ Lights Up Iggy Azalea & Natalia Jiménez at Long Beach Pride 2022

This summer’s Pride Parade in Long Beach, CA was accompanied by a two-day, two-stage festival featuring Iggy Azalea, Natalia Jiménez and more. Islay Events lit the performances with an array of fixtures including ADJ Hydro Beam X2 and Focus Spot 4Z moving heads, Jolt 300 washes, and IP65-rated 18P HEX IP LED par fixtures.

2022 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awardees Announced

TDF, the not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts, is proud to announce that celebrated costume designer Fred Voelpel and legendary scenic designer Eugene Lee are among the 2022 TDF/Irene Sharaff Award recipients. Although Voelpel passed away in June, he will be honored posthumously with the TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design while Lee will receive The Robert L. B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. Additionally, costume designer Dede Ayite will receive the TDF/Kitty Leech Young Master Award and visual artist Michael Curry will receive the TDF/Irene Sharaff Artisan Award.

The awards ceremony will be presented through the TDF Costume Collection on Friday, October 7 at 6:30 p.m. at The Edison Ballroom. INFiLED Displays Line Both Sides of the Avenue of Stars in Beijing

In March, an array of double-sided LED displays were installed on light poles along the Avenue of Stars in Beijing, China. These displays, made by INFiLED, have a pixel pitch of only 3.91mm, adding vibrancy and vitality to the whole avenue. The Avenue of Stars is located in the Starlight Film and Television Park, a national TV program production base in Beijing. To optimize the park’s layout and convey its visions, INFiLED was brought in to provide an LED display solution.
