ADJ’s flagship IP65-rated Hydro Profile automated luminaires were used alongside almost 300 other ADJ fixtures to illuminate two of the areas at the 2024 Rebirth hard dance festival held in the Netherlands last month. The event’s outdoor stage allowed festivalgoers the unique experience of riding the huge Ferris wheel which provided the focal point for its set design.
From June 23 to July 1, the city center of Maribor was transformed into a large festival area for music, art and culture. Festival Lent is the largest open-air festival in Slovenia and one of the biggest city center festivals in Europe. Production Designer and President of San Francisco-based Stage II Productions, Chris McGregor died of a heart attack on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 61. McGregor is widely known for his creative work for Phish and The Residents as well as lighting and production design for numerous events. His passing was initially confirmed by The Residents, who he had worked with since 1989. Between June 16 and 18, one of the highlights of the German festival season took place in Scheessel, northern Germany, with the staging of the Hurricane Festival.
