Crowd Safety Symposium Heads to Houston, Nov. 5 & 6, 2023

The Event Safety Alliance has just announced that ESA’s Crowd Safety Symposium is headed to Houston this November 5-6, prior to the Event Safety Summit. Join them for this immersive two-day workshop, where you’ll gain valuable insights into the four fundamental aspects of crowd safety and learn essential techniques for planning and managing safe pedestrian flows.

ESA: Weather Planning for Mass Gatherings Workshop, Jan. 4-5, 2023 in Austin, TX

From Woodstock to Indiana, from wind to lightning to extreme heat, severe weather is one of the most common and potentially dangerous hazards affecting outdoor events. Conscientious event professionals are expected to include comprehensive weather planning as part of their overall event management plan.

The Event Safety Alliance (ESA)’s Weather Planning for Mass Gatherings Workshop (formerly the “Severe Weather Summit”) is a practical workshop that joins meteorological science and event operations to help event and venue professionals address increasingly volatile weather conditions. ESA Announces New Training Opportunity: OSHA 30 General Industry Training

The Event Safety Alliance (ESA) has just added a new virtual OSHA 30 General Industry course to its fall calendar. This online, instructor-led learning opportunity will be delivered via Zoom over eight weeks, beginning October 4. Event Safety Summit Moves to March 2022

Over the last several weeks, a number of ESA members have expressed reservations about attending the 2021 Event Safety Summit in person. Many wish to remain available for potential gigs, have concerns about unvaccinated family members, or have had travel restricted by their employer.
