Kansas Brings the Classics with Bandit Lites

After 122 shows over four years, the legendary rock band Kansas wrapped up the “Point of Know Return Anniversary Tour.” With fans still clamoring for the show to carry on, the band embarked on a tour celebrating their classic hits with a lighting system designed by Scott Pearson and provided by Bandit Lites.

Lighting Designer Ben Gilbert Shines a Light on LANY

American pop rock band LANY recently wrapped their 34-city Summer Forever tour with a lighting system supplied by Bandit Lites. The band, named as an acronym for Los Angeles and New York, is comprised of the duo Paul Jason Klein and Jake Clifford Goss. LD Axel Rebollo Lights Mexican Singers Lucero and Mijares at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional

The show ¡Hasta que se nos hizo! was presented in June at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City where renowned Mexican singers Lucero and Manuel Mijares delighted the audience with a litany of hits from more than 40 years in the entertainment industry. Axel Rebollo, in charge of lighting and production design for the show, used Elation Professional’s 51,000-lumen Artiste Mondrian™ LED profile FX moving head, along with Chorus Line 16™ and Protron 3K Color™, to highlight the set. More Than 100 ADJ Fixtures Energize Raw Stage at Germany’s Biggest Outdoor Hardstyle Festival

A Collaboration between production companies Laserframe and Creative Sounds Veranstaltungstechnik recently supplied the lighting system for the second “Raw” stage at the Into The Madness Festival in Germany. The rig comprised almost exclusively ADJ fixtures including moving head beam and wash luminaires, LED blinders and the new multifunctional Jolt Bar FX LED units.

Donny Osmond Las Vegas Residency Features Tom Sutherland Design and Full Elation Rig

Donny Osmond recently completed his 100th solo residency show at Harrah’s Las Vegas beneath a rig with 140 Elation luminaires used as part of a lighting design by Tom Sutherland of DX7 Design. Osmond opened the show, “Donny,” last September, less than two years after he and his sister Marie Osmond ended their 11-year Vegas residency, and Osmond’s new solo show looks like it’s heading for another multi-year residency run.

Michael Ledesma and Elation Keep Up with Carlos Santana on ‘Miraculous Supernatural Tour’

Following a spring run of shows, Santana toured the U.S. from June 17 to Aug. 27 with opening act Earth, Wind & Fire. Santana’s “Miraculous Supernatural Tour” featured a lighting design by Michael Ledesma that included Elation Protron Eclypse hybrid LED luminaires and SEVEN Batten 14 LED strip lights. Both luminaires allowed for a full range of possibilities to complement the 75-year-old artist’s trademark guitar riffs with bright, vivid colors.

Grupo Firme Electrifies Stadium Crowds with Assist from 3G-Supplied Elation Fixtures

Mexican band Grupo Firme brought the party to U.S. stadiums this summer with their “Enfiestados y Amanecidos” tour, with 3G Productions supplying lighting, video, audio and rigging equipment. Production Designer Andy Ruiz and Lighting Designer/Tour Operator Arturo Sanchez added a festive touch with Elation Smarty Hybrid and Rayzor 760 moving lights along with Cuepix WW2 blinders.

Roland Greil Uses 450 Elation Lights on Epic Bavaria Sounds 2022 Concerts in Munich

The largest open-air concerts ever held in Munich, and the largest in Germany this year, took place at the Munich Exhibition Center in August with more than 300,000 fans total attending shows by Andreas Gabalier, Helene Fischer and Robbie Williams. Roland Greil lit the epic shows and massive 150-meter wide stage using a rig that included over 450 Elation Professional luminaires.
