311 Day Celebrates 34 Years of Underground Cool with a Heavy Robe Rig

In 2024, rockers 311 celebrate 34 years at the cutting edge of underground cool as one of America’s most acclaimed and popular indie bands with a massive cult following, a phenom celebrated biennially with a ‘311 Day’ two-night concert event. Designer Bobby Grey of Notan Creative, seized the opportunity to spec nearly 200 Robe moving lights for his rig.

The funeral service and a celebration of life honoring Craig Burross has been set for Thursday, June 6, 2024. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at Celebration Church – Central Austin located at 1006 W. Koenig Lane in Austin, TX.

Phish’s Summer Tour Hits the Road


Phish’s North American summer tour united the collaborative lighting team of Chris Kuroda, longtime lighting designer for Phish, and associate designer Andrew “Gif” Giffin, who have created a dynamic and eye-catching design with the help of 72 Robe Tetra2 moving LED bars and 60 Robe Spiiders. John Dickson Joins Robe North America Sales Team

Robe North American announced the appointment of John Dickson as Central U.S. Sales Manager, effective Oct. 1, 2022. Based in Austin, TX, Dickson has more than 25 years of experience as a lighting designer, programmer, and technician.

Burross Receives HES Lifetime Achievement Award

AUSTIN, TX – High End Systems National Sales Manager Craig Burross was recently presented an award from his peers and company founders for his achievement of $200 million in sales of High End Systems products. Burross joined High End Systems in March 1991, and was instrumental in the company’s sales of Intellabeam HX, Trackspot, Cyberlight, Studio Color and other products in the US. Burross says he is continuing to work on his next $200 million for the company.
