Bellevue Teatret (Bellevue Theatre) is located in Klampenborg, a desirable suburb north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Copenhagen’s Det Ny Teater (The New Theatre) has recently invested substantially in new Robe moving lights with the purchase of 16 Robe T1 Profiles that have joined the house rig together with an additional 20 Spiiders (bringing the total to 30). The lighting department of leading Danish rental and technical production specialist, European Touring Productions (ETP), based just outside Copenhagen, has enthusiastically started investing in Astera wireless LED lighting products. The first purchase of 32 Titan Tubes – four sets of 8 – was recommend by project manager John Askwith, who came on board last summer and swiftly made a list of 10 “must have” products to service ETP clients, shows and events, especially in the corporate and television sectors. Ingenious Solution for ‘A Column of Fire’ Production in Copenhagen

Copenhagen’s Bellevue Theatre asked Lighting Designer Mark P Jones to create a practical and versatile lighting design to facilitate their recent touring version of A Column of Fire, a musical production based on Ken Follet’s gripping work encapsulating politics, passion, religious divisions, and other 16th century melodrama of that moment. It was initially staged at the theatre in 2019, directed by Mads M Nielsen with the set designed by Benjamin la Cour and lit by Mikael Sylvest.
