They might not have been as common as flags at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, but CHAUVET Professional fixtures seemed to be everywhere one looked at Worthy Farm during the world-famous event. The company’s products were used to add extra color and excitement to 17 of the festival’s stages. For the U.S leg of Phoebe Bridgers’ 2022 world tour, Gateway Studios & Production of St Louis provided LD Spike Kienholz Inglis of Spike Design with a Robe moving light rig. The setup included 24 MegaPointes, 24 Spiiders, 16 Tetra1s and six FORTES.

LD Crt Birsa Creates Architectural Looks for 2CELLOS with Robe Moving Lights

LD Crt Birsa, who has worked with 2CELLOS since 2014, opted for a complete break with his previous designs for the duo of Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser. Instead of the full-on rock ‘n’ roll looks of the previous tour, Birsa takes a more architectural approach using Robe MegaPointes and Spiiders at the core of his design.

Lighting, sound and video specialists Colour Sound Experiment supplied 48 Ayrton Karif LT LED beam spot fixtures to Lighting Designer Samuel Tozer of Vision Factory for a show with drum and bass DJ duo, Hybrid Minds. The one-off performance, produced by NTRP, took place in October at Brixton Academy in London.
