BERKHAMSTED, Hertfordshire U.K. — The Pepper Rock Event Show, a concert in support of the Pepper Foundation, has passed the 25-year mark in 2013. Through its U.K. distributor Ambersphere, the event also received an assist from Clay Paky.

SEOUL — Magician Steve Wheeler drew 20,000 with 20 Magic on Ice shows at Blue Square Theatre here over the course of 10 days. The production, dubbed a “phantasmagorical art, magic and conjuring show,” was lit by LD Emiliano Morgia, who included 24 Alpha Profile 1500 and 24 Alpha Spot HPE 700s along with Sharpy fixtures, all from Clay Paky.
LAS VEGAS — For 311’s 2013 summer tour, LD Joe Paradise included a large complement of Clay Paky fixtures from AG Lighting in the rig. The 26-stop trek marked the 11th consecutive summer the band has headlined amphitheaters across the country.

BERLIN, Germany – For the fourth annual A&P Summer Rave, a music festival sponsored by a grocery company that gets staged in three of the same airport hangars that were used for the Berlin Airlift, LD Martin Kuhn deployed a rig featuring a variety of Clay Paky fixtures, including Sharpys, Alpha Spot QWO 800 STs and Alpha Beam 700s.
BRATISLAVIA, Czech Republic – Clay Paky’s Alpha Spot HPE 700s and Alpha Wash 700s alongside its Alpha Profile 1500s are being used to light pop idols on the Czech and Slovak Nova TV show, “SuperStar,” a show aimed at discovering the next big singing sensation. Clay Paky’s Bratislavia-based distributor, Pro JGS Light, Sound and Video, supplied the fixtures to Prague-based production company Media Pro Pictures.
LONDON – LD Rob Sinclair is using Clay Paky’s Sharpy Wash 330 as the lighting workhorse for the Pet Shop Boys’ “Electric World Tour.” “We specified the Sharpy Washes because I needed an extremely bright workhorse light that was small enough to travel with us on the numerous plane journeys around the world,” says Sinclair. “They’re working great, and we’re very happy with them.”
MOSCOW – Clay Paky’s A.leda Wash K20 luminaires and Sharpys have teamed up to create a Las Vegas-style light show to launch at new floating restaurant in Moscow. The locally-based Arlecchino Group, which supplies lighting to events across the region, provided A.leda Wash K20s and the Sharpys for the launch of the restaurant on a boat, named ‘Seagull,’ moored in the city’s center.
