Chauvet Nexus 4×4 Shines at Coachella 2013

INDIO, CA — Chauvet Professional Nexus 4x4s were shining on the Outdoor Theater stage at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival during the event’s two weekends in April. There were 48 Nexus 4×4 fixtures placed in vertical columns onstage, chosen for their pixel-mapping capabilities to accompany hip-hop group/headliner Wu-Tang Clan, and performances of Jurassic 5, Puscifer, Two Door Cinema Club and more.

SUNRISE, FL – Country singer Justin Moore opened for Eric Church’s tour with Chauvet Professional Legend 412 pixel-mapping moving yokes in his rig. LD Sooner Routhier specified 44 Legend 412 fixtures from Special Event Services, placing them on carts behind the singer and both sides of the stage.

Chauvet Radiates on Miranda Lambert’s Tour

FT LAUDERDALE, FL — Chauvet lighting fixtures figure into the design of Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley’s Locked & Reloaded Tour. LD Chris Lisle created a design to suit Miranda’s rock’n’roll style, using 66 Chauvet fixtures including the Chauvet Professional Legend 230SR Beam moving yokes.

Chauvet Video Panels Provide Set for Audible Festival

EL PASO — More than 200 Chauvet Professional video panels became the central part of  Audible, an EDM event featuring Deadmau5, Chris Lake and Audrey Napoleon. Creative Production & Design of Austin, TX, supplied the gear. “The design of this show depended on the transparent nature of the columns and the MVP 18 panels where a perfect fit,” said Justin Jenkins, director of Creative Production & Design. “This transparency has allowed us to not only layer video designs, such as this one, but to also allow lighting to be mounted behind the panels and ‘blow through’ for an additive effect.”

Chauvet Lights Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber at Jingle Ball

LOS ANGELES — Chauvet Professional Nexus 4×4 wash lights performed for Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and more artists during a two-day Jingle Ball concert for a local radio station at the Nokia Theater.  Visions Lighting provided the 16 fixtures, and Brandon Dunning was the house LD for the show.

Historic Greenhouse Glows with Chauvet

ST. LOUIS — The Jewel Box, a historic greenhouse in Forest Park, turned into a giant gem for a surprise birthday party, lit by 58 Chauvet Professional fixtures. Listed on the National Historic Register, the art deco-style glass building is a popular choice for various events. “With all the glass, steel and plants that make up this greenhouse, we simply wanted to let the building glow like a jewel,” said LD Stace Napper.

LD Lights Miss Venezuela Pageant with Chauvet Gear

CARACAS, Venezuela — LD Roberto Penso incorporated 54 fixtures from Chauvet Professional within his design for the Miss Venezuela Pageant, which was televised from the Hotel Intercontinental here. Chauvet’s Q-Wash 560Z-LED fixtures, provided by VLPS, proved a good fit for the challenges posed by the production, including a small stage and low ceiling within the hotel ballroom.  For audience lighting, Penso used 36 COLORado 1 Tour wash lights.
