Nashville Celebrates Independence Day with Bandit Lites

Hundreds of thousands of people gathered in downtown Nashville to celebrate the Fourth of July with a big concert event and fireworks show in the heart of Music City. Bandit Lites provided lighting for two stages: the main stage on Broadway featuring Old Dominion and 17 Nashville-based artists, and the Ascend Amphitheater where the Nashville Symphony Orchestra performed.

The lighting rig that George Gorton designed for Dallas Smith’s Some Things Never Change Tour took on a life of its own over the course of the early summer, seeming to expand, contract and morph in new directions with every show. After a 19-month pandemic-caused hiatus, the Juno Award-winning multi-platinum country star took off to play some live music on May 24, and invited some friends to join him. Goose Tours with Chauvet Professional Color STRIKE M Fixtures

For Goose’s 2022 tour, which includes performances at iconic venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and Radio City Music Hall in NYC, Chauvet Professional Color STRIKE M fixtures are playing a key role. LD Andrew Goedde and Designer/Programmer Tony Caporale collaborated on the looks for Goose’s timecode-shunning shows.
