Bandit Brings the Lights to the Black Music Honors

Bandit Lites is proud to have illuminated the 8th Annual Black Music Honors, a star-studded showcase that celebrates Black excellence and trailblazers in music, ranging from gospel to R&B, Hip-Hop and more. This year’s honorees included music legend Missy Elliott, vocal trio SWV, disco and R&B star Evelyn “Champagne” King, R&B/soul singer Jeffrey Osborne, and gospel trailblazers The Hawkins Family. The Gospel Music Association’s 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards ceremony took place at Nashville’s sold-out Allen Arena on Oct. 18, and the taped show aired Oct. 21 on TBN. Along with the performances, the event named GRAMMY Award winner CeCe Winans Artist of the Year, and also honored Winans for Song of the Year for her No. 1 Billboard hit, “Believe for It.”
