When Lighting Designer Rodger Pugh, his Co-Designer Craig Richter, and Production Manager Joey Dileo began working on the lighting for Halestorm’s current tour, they collectively developed a clear vision for the show’s final design. Through this collaboration, they came up with a concept that was somewhere between “an ’80s rock show and a ‘90s high school prom.”

Grammy Award winning Jamaican reggae legend Buju Banton returned to the U.S. for the first time in 13 years when he performed two back-to-back shows at New York’s UBS Arena. His 90-minute set, chock filled with much-loved anthems like “Champion” and “Wanna Be Loved,” was lit by Lighting Designer John Dacosta with CHAUVET Professional fixtures provided by The Design Oasis.
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, All Time Low embarked on a special three-date summer run. The run began on June 4 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, followed by a July 26 show at The Salt Shed in Chicago, and concluded August 24 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. LD Ben Gilbert was called upon to light the 31 city North American leg of LANY’s ‘Beautiful Blur’ tour in support of their fifth album. Not endowed with a great deal of time to do their thing, Gilbert and his team came up with a gem of a design that used a curved truss configuration to engage audience by changing the depth and shape perceptions of the stage and its runway.
