The Long Reach Long Riders and Behind the Scenes will host their annual fundraising raffle at the USITT Conference March 3-5 in Baltimore, MD. This year’s raffle will celebrate the 19th Anniversary of the Long Reach Long Riders annual charity motorcycle ride. The Long Reach Long Riders announced plans for the 2022 charity motorcycle ride. The 19th annual ride, the Blue Ridge Ramble, begins on June 18 in Charlotte, NC and returns to Charlotte on June 24. The route meanders through North and South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia before turning north back to Charlotte.
NEW YORK – Behind the Scenes noted that family and friends of industry veteran Nick Wurzel, who lost his battle with substance abuse on Sept. 27, wish to honor him and support others who are struggling by raising funds for BTS’ Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Initiative. A memorial service for Wurzel, a longtime employee at ETC, is expected to take place in Wisconsin in early 2022.
