Michael T. Strickland, founder and chair of Bandit Lites, is among those in the program’s inaugural class.

NASHVILLE – Bandit Lites is on the road bringing the elaborate performances of the circus to stages across the country with Cirque Musica. The stage and arena production blends all the wonders under the big top, including acrobats, violinists in flight, and tight-rope walkers with symphonic renditions of classical and pop music.
Music City Celebrates Fourth of July with Bandit Lites
NASHVILLE– Bandit Lites helped pull off Music City’s Fourth of July Celebration. Striking Matches, Keb’Mo’ and The Band Perry took the stage before more than 26,000 firework shells erupted over the Nashville skyline. LD Chris Lisle played off the look of the bridges directly behind and adjacent to the outdoor stage. The new GLP X4S fixtures lined the main arch upstage center and two half arches on either side, while the downstage portion of the rig included three more horizontal arches to create a cohesive design.
Governor’s Ball Festival Lit By Bandit Lites
NEW YORK CITY – Kings of Leon, Pretty Lights, Feist and The Avett Brothers took the stage under a Bandit Lites rig at New York City’s annual Governor’s Ball festival to entertain fans who braved the rain and subsequent mud in their quest to rock.

KNOXVILLE, TN – More than 600 business and community leaders gathered May 3 to celebrate the best in businesses for the ninth annual Pinnacle Business Awards Gala. Bandit Lites provided the equipment, while LD Will Twork created an elegant atmosphere for the different lighting needs of the night, including a reception, silent auction and a martini bar carved from a block of ice.
Bandit Lites Teams Up for Easter Services
NASHVILLE – Bandit Lites aided LD Ed White and production manager Ian Cattle of Black and White Live Ltd. in creating two Easter-related services for Passion City Church. The challenge was making the rig suitable for two different shows: the Friday night service in the dark, and the Sunday morning service in daylight.
Bandit Lights Governor’s Basement for Lady A
NASHVILLE – Bandit Lites was part of a private event at the home of Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and his wife Crissy. Bandit converted the basement ballroom into a mystical environment for a select group of dignitaries who were treated to an intimate musical performance by country music super group, Lady Antebellum.

NASHVILLE — Bandit Lites launched its new e-commerce website, BanditBuys.com, which features used and new gear for sale, including lamps, fixtures, consoles, effects and foggers. Special deals will also be available in addition to social media discounts. All equipment gets tested by Bandit’s technical staff, and shipping is available both domestically and internationally.
Bandit Lites Tours with Winter Jam Spectacular
NASHVILLE – Bandit Lites is on the road for the Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, which kicked off earlier this year. The tour of Christian music draws audiences of up to 20,000 due to its simple $10 charge at the door. This affected the stage design, where a somewhat ‘in the round’ approach was called for.
