Robe FOOTSIES and TetraXs for Gary Clark Jr. Tour

Grammy Award-winning artist Gary Clark Jr. is touring the world with his new album ‘JPEG Raw’, complete with a lighting design by John Adamo and Robert Fuller. For the first U.S. leg of the tour, Adamo utilized Robe FOOTSIE2s (RGBW) footlights and TetraX moving LED bars on his lighting rig, which were supplied by Bandit Lites.

Firefly Festival Grows with Bandit Lites

DOVER, DE– Bandit Lites continues its summer of festivals with The Firefly Music Festival, where more than 60,000 people came out to the 87 acre field known as “The Woodlands,” part of the Dover NASCAR Speedway complex. The three day event began on June 21, where acts such Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Vampire Weekend, Public Enemy, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Foster the People wowed the audience.

CMA Festival Shines with Bandit Lites

NASHVILLE – Country music’s biggest stars found themselves awash in the beams of more than 600 moving lights as Bandit Lites and LD Mike Swinford lit up the main stage at the CMA Music Festival. Starting on June 6, the four-day festival featured country music’s hottest stars including Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum taking the stage at LP Field to crowds of more than 162,000.

Widespread Panic Tours with Bandit Lites

KNOXVILLE, TN – American rock band and road warriors Widespread Panic are back on the road with Bandit Lites, bringing their Southern rock sound to sold-out shows across the U.S. Following a New Year’s Eve performance where the rig included truss running the length of the arena over the audience and two trusses encircling a video wall, LD Paul Hoffman was tasked to adapt the immense rig for both the road and varying venues.

Bandit Installs Park’s Permanent Interactive Light Show

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA – Every night, one hour after the sunset across the Great Lawn of River’s Edge Park, a light show begins. The permanent, 12-minute interactive light show is called Rays. It was designed by Dan Corson and installed by Bandit Lites in conjunction with Visual Terrain and Beaudry Interactive.

Aldean, Bandit First to Rock Georgia Stadium

ATHENS, GA –  Bandit Lites had the privilege of being the first to light a concert at the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium, where Jason Aldean played to more than 60,000 people. The 90-minute set was filmed for a DVD release, requiring additional lighting to his concert rig, including 88 Sharpys, 20 Syncrolite fixtures, 34 x VL 3500 washes, 20 MAC Auras and 24 Bandit 5x5s.

Belmont Honors Bandit Lites

NASHVILLE – Belmont University’s annual Best of the Best Showcase honored Bandit Lites with the 2013 Robert E. Mulloy Award of Excellence. The event took place April 13 in the Curb Event Center and was hosted by the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business. Bandit has worked with the showcase series for the past 10 years to teach students the real world aspects of lighting design.
