For the U.S leg of Phoebe Bridgers’ 2022 world tour, Gateway Studios & Production of St Louis provided LD Spike Kienholz Inglis of Spike Design with a Robe moving light rig. The setup included 24 MegaPointes, 24 Spiiders, 16 Tetra1s and six FORTES.
Jon Eddy, production designer and LD for some of the biggest metal bands around, has designed for Deftones since 2014. For the band’s 2022 tour, Eddy created a completely different theatrical look and feel with an overhead truss design creating an exploding diamond shape effect. While the design is a turn from his previous work, it still incorporates Eddy’s style.
Avolites has unveiled Titan V15.1, an incremental update to its lighting and integrated media control Titan software. This update looks at making the setting up of fixed installations easier than ever. Titan’s Timeline has proved extremely useful to fixed installations, as well as live productions, as it transforms the way users can program a time coded show, dramatically speeding up the process.
