NASHVILLE – Running in tandem with the CMA Music Festival from June 5-8, lighting console manufacturer Avolites announces that it is partnering with lighting fixture manufacturer Robe to host a four-day open house at Soundcheck Nashville, the largest rehearsal studio complex in the world under one roof.
“LED Forest” in Sochi Controlled via Avolites Ai S6 Server, Tiger Touch II Console
SOCHI, Russia — The Closing Ceremony of Sochi’s Winter Olympics featured 7,000 performers under an “LED Forest” of lighting gear — comprised of 204 LED tubes, each one 12-meters high with a 360° viewing angle, and powered by an Avolites Ai S6 Server and Tiger Touch II console.

CLEVELAND, OH and BROOKLYN, NY — For Kid Cudi’s recent gigs in Cleveland and Brooklyn in late March, which extended the artist’s 2013 Cud Life tour, LD Joshua Schultz used an Avolites Sapphire Touch console provided by LMG. Schultz is now supporting R. Kelly’s latest tour, which runs through mid-May, again relying on Avolites’ Sapphire Touch for control.
